damn a fine looking Luger 
I love my big pistols so fancy the 8 inch, I have seen a nice holster for it too. Was this actually used though? Would it be totally out of the question going with a heer EM or NCO loadout? Also anyone know a UK importer - I dont fancy the hassle of trying to deal with customs myself! 
Airsoft armouries are getting them in. I spoke to the boys last week and the delivery was due in a few days.

Following your article I too purchased a set of walnut grips from sarco.
Sure does take a lot off effort to get them to fit though 
I am pleased with the end result but I think I will just use them for display purposes. For skirmishing I have just painted the original grips, and I am quite happy with the outcome

I used mine in combat for the first time at the Bryansk Forest game and was incredibly impressed by the results. I used Predator gas and .25g bb's and the temperature at the time was about 20 degrees C. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I took aim for the first time but, when I hit my target square in the chest first round at about 35m, I was stunned. After that, I had several more equally spectacular hits, including three or four headshots at similar ranges. I found that I was actually outranging some AEG's! If I'd had a couple of extra mags, I would have been a bit more gung ho! As it was, I had to be happy with being sneaky and firing a double tap at my targets. Happy to say that I didn't miss once.
I fired 6 mags worth of ammo on a single gas fill as well, so, given the righ conditions, it's very gas efficient too. I can't really find fault with this gun as a skirmishable weapon and would recommend it to anyone.

Right - six months after buying this pistol I took it out to play with and am getting some problems - the mag fills up OK but on shooting it it fires 2 bbs, then misfires and discharges all the gas out of the top. Same every time.
Any suggestions?

The other thing to do with your WE luger mags is to push out the pin at the bottom that holds it togehter. You can then pull the bottom off and clean / lube the feeder valve properly. It also doesn't hurt to rub a dab of silicon grease around the seal.
Hi guys, sorry for the necro post, but i felt that was better than starting a whole new one.
My 4inch barreled WE Luger arrived today, finally took the plunge and bought myself one, and all i can say is wow, all the pictures just cant do these Lugers justice.
One thing i will add, as i dont know how common knowledge this is, but it would seem that the barrels are no longer threaded, well mine certainly isnt, and it certainly looks 100% better for it.
I just wanted to ask advice from those of you that have owned one of these for a while, i understand that when removing and inserting the mag its best to have the pistol cocked, as otherwise the fireing pin can be damaged? Also is this all the time or only when gas is in the mags?
Are there any other pitfalls to be aware off?
All help greatly appreaciated, but first impressions i'm hugely impressed by this clone.

This is just another quick question, has anyone suffered problems with the front site detaching itself, as it appears to be glued on, or is it attached more securely?
not had issues with the front sight on either of my P08's - got a Tanaka & a WE.
